Welcome to Pickerel Lake! This 2 bedroom cottage is the perfect place for a vacation for 6 in Newaygo, MI, a short 45 minute drive from Grand Rapids.
The interior of the cottage has been recently updated with new flooring, new kitchen and appliances and offers zoned heat and air conditioning.
The surrounding area also has much to offer with great restaurants, shopping, and hiking and biking trails.
The Property
This cottage is on the beautiful all-sports Pickerel Lake. In addition to amazing fishing and swimming from the end of the dock, we include for use 4 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, life jackets, floats, and sand toys for little ones. The dock can easily accommodate your boat or jet skis. The lakefront is sandy bottom, zero-entry. Great for young children who want to play in the water, but aren’t ready for an immersive experience.
One of the best features of the property is the boathouse located lakeside. Just a few steps away from the cottage, you can watch the incredible sunrises, have campfires next to the lake, play board games or just relax while reading a book in the incredible porch swing!
You can comfortably sleep 6 within the cottage: one bedroom features a queen bed, the second has twin bunks and the living room offers a queen size pull out sleeper sofa.
The brand-new kitchen has a great view of the lake and a dining table that seats 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and more. If you'd rather grill on the deck, we have you covered with a gas grill.
The cottage offers high-speed WiFi, a large TV with basic cable, Netflix and Roku streaming.
