The house is a beautiful converted 120 year old barn set on a quiet private 2 acres. It is spacious and airy, with high ceilings and lots of natural light.
The ground floor features a large entrance hall whose ceiling opens to the peaked eaves of the roof. The open plan living/dining room spans one end of the house and has three sets of french doors leading out onto a 50' stone terrace, where there is an outdoor living area. The vast chefs' kitchen has a 6 burner Viking stove, stone counter tops and 9' long antique baker's table that serves as an island. It also has french doors opening directly onto the terrace and outdoor eating area, where there is a teak table that seats 12. Also on the ground floor are a guest room with a queen size bed, a full bathroom with walk in shower, and a paneled library/media room with large flat screen TV and a closet full of games and puzzles.
On the second floor, three bedrooms open off of a balcony that circles the entrance hall. There is a large master bedroom with a king size bed, private bathroom with walk in stone tiled shower, with a window seat and a balcony that overlooks the garden. There are two additional bedrooms both with queen size beds. One of these can be converted to two twin beds for children. The back yard is very private and flanked by giant linden trees. There is a 20'x40' gunite pool, completely enclosed. There are lounge chairs and a large umbrella by the pool, which is landscaped with ornamental grasses and hydrangea. The house is steps from the newly-renovated Pridwin Hotel, and within easy walking distance famous Sunset Beach and tennis courts.
