Summary: This was our first stop of our trip and Portsmouth is such a cute little New England town. Hotel Thaxer was a perfect palce to stay. Right near downtown and very walkable to local shops, resturants, and emtertainment. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was updated and very comfortable. Highly recommend.
