Summary: This is a perfect property for a family with older kids or a small group. The layout is great, the property is pretty and the proximity to the ski hills and Harbor Springs is fantastic. 5pm check in is late considering night skiing begins at 5:30pm. The overall feel of the house is that your nice friends lent it to you because the couches have boards under the cushions, the towels are mismatched and warn, there are personal items in the bathroom drawers, and the few amenities are pre-used. The kitchen is well stocked (although no coffee or water bottles, which have been provided in other properties we’ve rented), but it’s totally disorganized so you have to search thru. The beds feel like tempurpedic mattresses and the bedding is pretty and cozy. There are hangers in the bedrooms which is worth noting because it isn’t always the case. And, whomever deals with snow removal did a good job clearing and salting in preparation for our arrival. There was a lot of snow!!
