Peace and quiet. Solitude on the St. Francis is a lovely log cabin set in the woods. It is approximately ten miles north of Sam A. Baker State Park in an isolated area. The cabin sits on 260 acres that border the St. Francis River. The St. Francis is easily accessible (a quick two minute walk from the cabin) and is an excellent fishing, swimming and floating river. This log cabin has a master bedroom with a queen size bed, a loft with a full size mattress and a downstairs semi-private bedroom with a full size log bed. Solitude is all electric. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, stove-top burners, crock pot, drip coffee maker, toaster, pots & pans, dishes and utensils. There is one bathroom and a walk-in shower. Solitude is equipped with central heat and air a land line telephone and satelite TV with dvd. The very cold Seabaugh Spring sits in front of the cabin and flows into a small pond and creek that leads into the St. Francis. Bring your inner tubes and swim gear and spend the day at the river. There is also a BBQ grill in front of the cabin and a fire pit for bonfires. There are two miles of hiking trails and a two acre fishing pond on the property. If you are looking for a getaway from civilization, this is the place.
