Cute 2 bedroom lakefront cottage with additional converted boathouse at water's edge with 84' of frontage - perfect for viewing the sunset across the lake and taking in the easy lifestyle of Keuka Lake.
There are approximately 20 steps down to the cottage from the car parking but once there the property is just 2 to 3 feet above the water's edge. There are two comfortable Adirondack chairs awaiting you on the porch before you enter the cottage. From here you can sit relax and watch the boats going past, the fishermen fishing or your children swimming off the dock and float in front (dock & float in lake between May 15th and October 15th). There is also a full size picnic table with umbrella and charcoal grill located between the cottage and the boathouse. The gently sloping gravel beach in front of the boathouse has a fire pit and allows guests to wade slowly into the water. There are additional plastic adirondack chairs here. Kindly note that this is a seasonal cottage - there is a space heater.
The cottage has been recently renovated including tile floors throughout, a newer bathroom and kitchen with full size range, oven, microwave & dishwasher. There are chairs, a sofa, a flat screen television and air conditioning unit in the living area. The bathroom has a shower. The cottage has two bedrooms - a queen size bed in one room and a full size bed in the other. There is also a boathouse overlooking the water that has newer windows and screens, recently water proofed, painted, carpeted, with air conditioning. The boathouse has bunk beds, a dresser and futon that can be pulled out for sleeping (however, it has no heat and there is no separate bathroom in this structure). The cottage is SMALL (approx 530 sqft) home and should be limited to 4 adults/children unless the boathouse is being used with the information noted above.
Late Spring and early Fall are more peaceful and tranquil and a great time for wine touring, visiting local museums, boating, fishing and more.
