This small two bedroom, one bath cottage has been completely renovated in the last two years. The master bedroom offers a full size bed. The second bedroom offers bunk beds with a trundle to accommodate all the kiddos! The family room offers plenty of sitting room, a pull out queen size sleeper sofa couch and television. The kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you may need for a great cook out! An attached porch provides more space for looking out over the lake, watching television or relaxing after a day in the sun. Property also includes a full size bathroom with stand up shower. The cottage may be small but we have utilized the most of our space to provide adequate sleeping arrangements, plenty of sitting room and a laid back atmosphere to relax and unwind. But who wants to be inside when you have a beautiful lake to be enjoying! Outdoors we have a firepit for smores, a table that seats 6 and 4 Adirondack chairs. If the squirrels didn't chew them, there is also string lights across the yard for ambiance when the sun goes down! Palmer Lake is a 444 sq. foot all sport lake. You can swim off the shore approximately 40 feet before you start to feel muck. But just grab a raft and float at that point! Or you can spend the day at the cove swimming and then stop for an ice cream cone on the way home at Nibbles Ice Cream Shop. There is also docking on the north side of the lake if you want to dock near town and walk up to Curly's or Five Star Pizza to grab some dinner! There is a nice park in town at the elementary school for the kids to run off any energy they may have left!
Cottage rental also includes use of kayaks, Blackstone griddle, beach towels and corn hole.
*If you are looking for a party home, this is not your place. We have very nice neighbors who are at their home every weekend. We will not tolerate loud music or parties.
