2 Bedroom House in Cuchillo

This cute little home is across the street from an active pecan orchard; a little oasis from the desert in historical Cuchillo, NM. The house is at the base of the Gila National Forest where you will find the most amazingly breathtaking mountains with lots of hiking spots, with cliff dwellings, and great hunting. The house is also near Truth or Consequences where you will find relaxing mineral hot springs. Elephant Butte lake is nearby (less than 10 miles) and there is plenty of room to park your boat at the orchard.

Our home is pet friendly but dogs only (our son is allergic to cats). We welcome snowbirds (we are from colder places as well and enjoy our winters in New Mexico).

The home has been completely remodeled and a new, large deck as been added with views of the orchard and the mountains. Cuchillio is a quiet little community so, if you enjoy quiet places, you will LOVE it here.

We have high speed internet so you can enjoy streaming and the home as a second bedroom that is set up to double as an office and a bedroom. The house has all the amenities you would want for a short or a long term stay, including a washer and dryer. The home has a propane grill on the deck so you can enjoy grilling the local meats and vegetables you can find at the farmer’s market in Truth or Consequences.

We have pecans for sale throughout the year, our pecans are completely chemical free. If you come in December, you may just see us harvesting the pecans (shaking the trees). We also have pecan wood items for sale as well and most can be customized. Occasionally, we have homemade sourdough available and will share with our guests.
